Resources for businesses & community members affected by COVID-19
The DCEDC has implemented actions to address the needs of our business community and their employees in collaboration with our non-profit, public and private partners. Our goal is to support our businesses with available resources and provide tools to assist with continuity and sustainability of operations. Part of that process is getting input from the businesses so we can identify urgent needs. We will solicit that input periodically moving forward to continually assess the situation.
Again, these are challenging times but together we will meet these challenges and overcome them. Door County is a strong caring community and we will not let this diminish that in any way.
“SAFER AT HOME” ORDER GUIDANCE
We realize the Governor’s “Safer at Home” order is creating questions and concerns. Although the Order was detailed concerning “essential” and “non-essential” businesses, DCEDC and as well as others still have some questions concerning “essential”. We are monitoring this as it evolves and will pass along new information as it becomes available, through this newsletter.
If you would like to request a designation as an “essential” business, that must be done through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation at the link below.
We know that this is a challenging time but please be patient. We will get through this – together!
