Entrepreneurial Training Program
Each year, DCEDC co-sponsors an 8-week entrepreneurial training program course that provides step-by-step guidance on researching the viability of your proposed business and writing a business plan. Coursework addresses legal and financial issues, staffing, accounting, record-keeping and marketing. In addition, individual counseling and coaching help participants complete a business plan and prepare to request financing from banks, investors and/or public institutions. Registration for the course begins in November; the class runs from late January until mid-March. Fill out the form below to be included on the mailing list.
The DCEDC also partners with the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to provide one-on-one counseling to individuals interested in starting a business in Door County. Fill out the form below to arrange a meeting.
