Our Business Development Center is a small business incubator located in the Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park. Tenants share services and equipment and benefit from competitive rents. Shared services keeps overhead costs low and lets the business get off to a strong start.

Entrepreneurial Training Program

Each year, DCEDC co-sponsors an 8-week entrepreneurial training program course that provides step-by-step guidance on researching the viability of your proposed business and writing a business plan. Coursework addresses legal and financial issues, staffing, accounting, record-keeping and marketing. In addition, individual counseling and coaching help participants complete a business plan and prepare to request financing from banks, investors and/or public institutions. Registration for the course begins in November; the class runs from late January until mid-March. Fill out the form below to be included on the mailing list.

The DCEDC also partners with the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to provide one-on-one counseling to individuals interested in starting a business in Door County. Fill out the form below to arrange a meeting.
