This page is intended to provide health and sanitation guidance as well as business operations resources to assist in the reopening of businesses in Door County.

Door County’s Commitment to Cleanliness & Safety

Door County’s commitment to cleanliness and safety initiative offers guidance for local businesses that are serious about the safety of residents and visitors. In return for making a commitment to follow these guidelines outlined by Door County Medical Center and Door County Public Health, businesses are able to use the program logo to show they are committed to cleanliness and safety in Door County. Participation is free and open to all Door County businesses and organizations. Use these guidelines to help educate your leaders, employees, and customers on best practices around infection prevention.

Business Reopening Guidelines & Safety Protocols

Door County Medical Center & Door County Public Health Town Hall Zoom Meetings:

Door County Medical Center & Door County Public Health will be hosting a series of town hall meetings for local businsses and leaders to discuss the attached guidelines for infection prevention and reopening procedures in Door County during COVID-19.

PLEASE NOTE: The Door County Recovery Taskforce officially endorses the industry specific reopening guidelines released by WEDC (Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation) please familiarize yourself with these guidelines (links below) as they will be referenced during the Town Hall meetings.
